The question here should be was it mounted or just not in the desired place. You can change mount points without going through all the hassle of moving files and reformatting the drive.
If it did not mount, then we would want to figure out why. If it was not a Linux file system, that could be it. There are additional Fedora packages needed to handle Windows file system drives as noted in the wiki guidance.
Glad you got it sorted out, but I am a bit puzzled why hda-diskmount would not see it. The only logical explanation would be the file system issue or that is was already mounted. Guess that is a mute point now though
