Frustrating lack of answers/ideas to Internal server error

Postby oldcyberdude » Tue Nov 02, 2010 5:33 am

I have posted a problem for Internal server error on all my Mysql apps. It doesn't seem like there's any way to resolve the problem!

Can you direct me to that post or give more details. We need to know what version of Fedora you have and how you installed it as well.

Interesting....not sure what is going on here. You say phpMyAdmin won't work, but via WebMin you can see tables in the db?

Have you performed any Fedora updates recently? If not, might consider that. Sometimes newer packages of one type do not play well with older of another. When an app installs, it uses the newest package available. So, if you have an older package for one part that is needed, things won't work quite right.

Does that make sense?

Can you please check the logs. Attach the /var/log/amahi-app-install.log and any other log you can find which may show some errors.

Ok, did you do any modification to your machine? For example, change host name or mess with any of the settings outside Amahi?

It appears that its something got modified and that is the cause of all your issues.

Nope no changes or modifications.

host name and domain same as the initial Fedora 12 install

Everything works except mysql access. For example, hda, speedtest, sci calculator and webmin.

Hmmm....can you see if you can find a boot log and what is in it. I believe from the desktop login prompt there is a log at the bottom that allows you to view the boot log.
