All,
I have the Amahi DLNA server with a remote CIFS mount to a ReadyNAS for content. Everything works with the exception of picking up new files as they are added to the ReadyNAS. Seems I need to restart the Amahi DLNA server to get it to recognize the new content.
Any thoughts on how to make it "scan" the mount point for addition content instead of the manual hassle?
Thanks so much!

Re: Amahi DLNA - CIFS to ReadyNAS to PS3 Help
It may be due to inotify not being supported, either in the client or in the server.
i am not sure how to check. if it's a client issue, we could (maybe) help.
if it's a server issue, try updating your ReadyNAS ?

Re: Amahi DLNA - CIFS to ReadyNAS to PS3 Help
Thanks. There is no way for me (that I know of) to have the ReadyNas "update" itself since it is not running the DLNA server it has. When I do run that, the ReadyNas updates itself and Amahi still does not.
So I guess since the question is can Amahi do or be made to do a scan of the mount point directories in the amahi.conf file. It seems the scan only works on the directories that are the default.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Still no dice. I tried an external hard drive creating a share there and changing the amahi.conf for the DLNA server with no success with it updating. Does the auto update only work with the directories that are the default?
Thanks
