Having an issue getting this to work, currently it does not matter what app a target it does the same thing.
Using mediawiki as an example, if i set it to go to that I end up at opendns with this in the search:
"mediawiki/index.php/Main_Page"
with phpmyadmin going to x.yourhda.com/phpmyadmin i get the login page as soon as i login I am at opendns with: "phpmyadmin/index.php?token=xx"
It seems like its not the proxy's fault (to my knowledge anyways) but an issue with what each app is refering to its own hostname. Like if phpmyadmin thinks http://phpmyadmin/ will point to itself then it would just prepend that to all the pages but from outside the network that poses a problem as my computer here does not know what that is. I know what mod_rewrite is but I could not say what it is doing, I have almost no knowledge of mod_write, only used it once, so I am not sure if the problem could reside there or not.
web-apps proxy
Re: web-apps proxy
This is indeed a problem that needs to be fixed in the apps themselves, or as an exception in Web-apps Proxy.
For mediawiki, try this: once you click mediawiki in the web-apps proxy page, and http://mediawiki/index.php/Main_Page failed to load, try to load this url: http://username.yourhda.com/index.php/Main_Page i.e. replace the "mediawiki" hostname with the proper "username.yourhda.com" hostname.
This workaround might work on some apps.
For PHPMyAdmin, I don't have any issue. Maybe you're not using the latest version or the app? (Or maybe it's me that is running a custom version).

Re: web-apps proxy
Sorry I took so long to respond, your suggestion worked for me using username.yourhda.com/mediawiki/... is allowing me to get to it and click around and the url still looks correct. So it seems like its just the initial "go to here" is routing it as if it was local. I will test phpmyadmin again at some point right now I just want mediawiki setup so im not worried about phpmyadmin.
Re: web-apps proxy
Is Web-Apps Proxy supposed to be working in Amahi 6.0?
It's not available in the app store and I can't run my apps remotely.
I can't use the VPN remotely because my employer's firewall blocks all but port 80.
I've been a longtime Amahi user and avid fan and promote Amahi a lot and I have to say this is the worst upgrade I've seen, not just for Amahi but for any product. This was poorly implemented.
Please in the future do not rlease "upgrades" until or unless they work as smoothly as the versions they replace - hint - no apps = no upgrade.
Now that my little rant is out of the way will someone please help me?
I am way beyond frustrated with 6.0
I desperately need to get web-apps proxy working so I can do things in locations that only have port-80 access.
