Network printing with linux (SOLVED)

Hello,
Firstly, thank you for Amahi! I've been using it for a week now and have figured most things out...except printing!
Sorry if this has been covered before but I couldn't find an answer.
I have installed a printer to my HDA (usb) and can print from here ok. I can also print from two laptops (wireless) running xp and vista both on my home network and via vpn. I cannot however, 'find' the printer from my linux (mint) desktop which is wired to my router. I have had a bit of a play trying to add a printer but can't locate the hda printer (not really sure about what addresses to enter). I have looked in cups on hda and the printer seems to be set up to share etc. The success with the windows laptops seem to suggest that everything is playing nicely also.
Any ideas with how to do this, please?

Edit: Firewall configuration was not allowing CUPS. DOH!
