I'm getting "the file hda-release-1.0-1.noarch.rpm cannot be opened. This is due to a missing file, a corrupt package, or corrupt media."
Any ideas? I'd really love to get this up and running!
Thanks,

Re: Getting hda-release-1.0-1.noarch.rpm error during install
Really? No one has any idea why this isn't working? I can't even install FC12 and then Amahi, much less try it out. It might be easier to just use Ubuntu and add the apps in manually.
I heard about this product on FLOSS Weekly, but it's not leaving a very solid impression when sending an e-mail to support as well as posting here can't even get a simple response.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay, we have been extremely busy. It appears that your issue is related to one of two things. You may have a connectivity issue or your install DVD is bad.
I have heard cases with other users where the DVD image they burnt was bad. Once they got a good image, everything worked fine. Please ensure you use the Fedora 12 FULL DVD, not the network version.
Please let us know how it goes. If you like, you can come by the IRC channel in the evening. There are many of us who can assist you real time.

Re: Getting hda-release-1.0-1.noarch.rpm error during install
I'll check again, but the error check was fine. Perhaps I'll try downloading again, this time from a different source. Thanks.
I'll see if I can swing by on IRC later otherwise.

Installed image on different machine, same problem. Am re-downloading FC12 from a different mirror, at a different location (my house). We'll see!
Re: Getting hda-release-1.0-1.noarch.rpm error during install
Okay, different download mirror, different location (thus different firewall I'm behind), and 4 different machines, one virtual. All the same error.
Me thinks it's you guys.

Re: Getting hda-release-1.0-1.noarch.rpm error during install
I tried again, but no luck. I think I'm going to have to punt on this for the time being. Very little responses here as well as no progress makes it not really worth the trouble.
I really wanted the centralized aspect of this, but since I've already gotten much of this stuff working under Ubuntu, I'll just stick with that.
Attached is the latest error.

Re: Getting hda-release-1.0-1.noarch.rpm error during install
Hello,
I am sorry you are still having install issues. Did you add http://f12.amahi.org during your initial Fedora install? Are you using the Fedora 12 Full Install DVD?
I am trying to determine what happened that would cause the install to fail. If you could provide additional details on your install process, we should be able to sort things out.
We hope you will give us another chance. Sorry it has taken a few days to reply, but we are a small all volunteer community. We appreciate your patience and understanding that it may take a few days to resolve this issue. If you come by the IRC (#amahi) there is typically 1 or 2 folks on that can assist real time.

- Full DVD
Added http://f12.amahi.org
Tried it with images downloaded from two different mirrors, at two different download locations (home and work)
Virtual machine and two different hardware machines
Followed your install instructions to a T.
Re: Getting hda-release-1.0-1.noarch.rpm error during install
Thanks for the clarification. I presume you followed the install guidance on http://www.amahi.org and not the wiki, right? When you had the option to change the host name, did you change it from localhost.localdomain? It is my understanding that this should be changed to hda.
I am trying to understand what might have happened to cause the issue. Based on your screen shots, it appears as if you have not been able to get past the initial Fedora install.
