This should be an easy one right?
I store all of my video files on an External USB drive. I know DLNA is working, when I copy a video files to /hda/files/movies I can play it back on the ps3. What's the best way to setup use from the USB drive? I've tried adding "media_dir=/media/Vantec" to the dlna configuration file as that's where fedora mounted the drive when I plugged it in. Nothing is showing up though, also tried "media_dir=/media/Vantec/Videos/Movies" where the movie files are actually stored. (not sure if DLNA will search subfolders or not?) I also tried to link (shortcut) the folder to the HDA movies folder but received an error in the terminal when I tried.
Is there some kind of configuration I'm missing? I will not be back online until tomorrow morning so I apologize if someone responds and I don't reply promptly. Thanks.
Linux Noob, how to use folders on USB drive in HDA?
