I installed a second drive on my HDA. I migrated my music library onto it. I mounted the drive at: /var/hda2
I can see my music with normal user with zina, or network share but with Amahitunes, no songs.
I did edit /etc/mt-daapd.conf to point toward the right folder.
Maybe a owner issue? Or it must be in /var/hda/files/music?
web_root /usr/share/mt-daapd/admin-root
port 3689
admin_pw mt-daapd
db_dir /var/cache/mt-daapd
mp3_dir var/hda2/music
servername AmahiTunes
runas mt-daapd
extensions .mp3,.m4a,.m4p,.ogg,.flac
logfile /var/log/mt-daapd.log
rescan_interval 600

Amahitunes not showing media
My HDA: Pentium dual cpu E2200 @2.2GHz 4GB of Ram, 1T+1,5T hard drive.
Re: Amahitunes not showing media
hmmm, not configurable. bad amahitunes!
the location of the dir is in a constant called MUSIC_DIR at the top of this file:
sorry.
we need to get more developers interested to take ownership of these demo apps!
it would be a good opportunity to learn about ruby and ruby on rails!
anyone?

Re: Amahitunes not showing media
I did the same - moved music to a different hard drive... had to change the mount point in the hda config window... and add symbolic links in /var/hda/files that point to the new share points. I haven't rebooted yet, and so I'm not sure if I'll have to recreate these each time... though I did put the two lines (I added two drives, moved two mount points)
ln -sf /media/disk/music /var/hda/files/music
ln -sf /media/disk2/pictures /var/hda/files/pictures
This did work for me, my pictures now show within piclens (though I find it kinda slow to load)

Re: Amahitunes not showing media
hi gordhynes!
the first time is slow, as the thumbnails are being cached. the cache of the thumbail is determined by the full pathname of the file, so you are probably right that it's slower and probably this is the reason!

Re: Amahitunes not showing media
i know i've mentioned this several times in the forum, but y not just mount the new drive in the existing music folder location? that way you don't have to change any settings. the only issue would be copying any existing music in the folder to the new drive.
