Hello,
I'm new to Amahi and Fedora. I've used Ubuntu (currently installed on my laptop) so I've had some linux experience.
I want to replace a Buffalo Linkstation Pro 500gb with a intel atom dual core system with 2tb (1tbx2) Raid 1.
1. Does Fedora 10 support Intel Atom processors
2. Does Fedora 10 support Raid
3. Is it difficult to set up the raid?
4. I'm looking at the atom for the energy savings, any votes for or against?
We use our current NAS as a file server (and for local backup images of all our machines) for our home and office with 10 clients. I'm looking at Windows home server and stumbled across Amahi and am intrigued.
Thanks for any input!

that's really relative. some people find it easy and some find it really hard.3. Is it difficult to set up the raid?
like, i am very technical, but i do not feel i understand raid. i have some antibodies against it for some reason.
it's definitely not mainstream.

Re: Hardware questions
Thanks for the reply, now I'm off to buy some hardware! Some people buy shoes, some people buy cars, but I love to buy computer parts.

Re: Hardware questions
if you look at my signature, yopu can see what atom board i got,
Fedora (which is the base for Amahi) works well on it.
depending on what you do with it (i also run a mediacenter on it, with 5 clients) you should not have a problem with it.
