Sorry, I removed the old version and forgot to post the new download links. I have made 2 versons, one for 32-bit and one for 64-bit. I tested them both and appear to work good on my systems.

The new links are:

32-bit: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1380867/32bi ... 1.2.tar.gz
64-bit: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1380867/64bi ... 1.2.tar.gz

I have also removed the custom psotfix as I did not implement the quota patch in the scripts. It decreases the download to under 1MB.

Hop this works for you. I will be anxiously awaiting feedback.

OK, I decided to move the instructions for the Amahi Mail System to the wiki. It can be found here http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Amahi_Mail_System, complete with download links.

I will add to this as it becomes more developed.

I'm letting you know that I have installed this app.

I can access it from on my AMAHI server that I installed it on, but have not been successful in accessing it remotely. I am working with bigfoot65 with some install issues.

Don't run the current install if your domain is NOT home.com until he comes out with an update. I could give you the things to patch in the install script, but it would be better from him to just fix it.

Plus there are a few other items to address still.

I have made several corrections and added a new feature. Version 1.3 has been released via the wiki at http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Amahi_Mail_System. This release fixes the bugs identified by rgmhtt and now allows the user name and password to be set during install.

There is no restriction to the home.com domain now. Any domain name can be used. The 32-bit version was tested, sending and receiving email works. The only hitch with receiving email is the MX record. If your domain doesn't have one, you can't receive email sent from the HDA without additional configuration. To do this, I masquerade my HDA email as my ISP email. It works fine for receiving since I have it set to pull my ISP email to the HDA. There are no restrictions on sending though.

Bigfoot,
I wanted to double check with you that this is the latest and greatest mail server optimimized for Amahi prior to me attempting to roll it out and check it. End goal is to wean myself off GoDaddy.

Hello,

See http://forums.amahi.org/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=2962. I have made quite a few changes during the conversion to Fedora 14. The Fedora 12 version has been retired.

The wiki page outlines all the details.
