I am having difficulty trying to delete duplicate files from the "completed" file my Newsgroup share. I receive a "you require permission from unix\apache to make changes to the file" error. My CHMOD command is/was set at 755 on SABnzbd. I have changed the CHMOD command request to 777 on same program in the hopes that i would gain access and be able to remove unwanted files as necessary (did not work)
My question(s) are as follows:
1. How can i remove those unwanted files from my completed file as i have duplicates or am i stuck.
2. Even better, how can i change permissions to do whatever i want.
Your Noobian Friend,
lord
SOLVED: Permission Issue - Cannot Delete Duplicate Files from Share
Re: Permission Issue - Cannot Delete Duplicate Files from Share
Did you try resetting the share permissions in the dashboard? Go to the share tab and expand the share that needs reset and click the Reset Permissions icon.
