What is Home Domain?

Hello there!

I have Amahi 8 running and everything seems working well, however I do not understand what is home domain for?

I can reach my hda if enter hda.myhomedomain.net, calendar.myhomedomain.net etc. However all these subdomains go back to HDA and I see why. It is because of DNS settings on HDA http://hda/tab/network/dns_aliases.

Basically, I cannot understand how can I use home domain? Can anyone explain me, please? Thanks in advance

The use of the domain is an advanced networking setting. In order to use it outside your network, you need a domain provider. This is an area that you can find info about on the internet.
