Install full fedora vs min install

Postby garlar4 » Mon Sep 07, 2015 4:57 am

Is it optional to install Amani on a full version of fedora 19. The reason I ask is I see that the instructions say spicificly to install the min install of fedora. Does putting Amani on a full install cause issues?

If you mean Desktop vs Minimal, it could cause issues when installing Amahi. We designed Amahi to be a headless server.

Ok thank you. The reason I ask is I loaded the full desktop version of fedora with the Anahi and the only issues I have is dnla and plex. Ether not working or running extreamly slow. If I reloaded it as the min install would that fix my issues?

Most likely as the Desktop takes a lot of resources.

It's also best to follow the install instructions and not deviate for best results.
