++ Amahi 8 Release on Fedora 21

5 days to go for the Amahi 8 release! Final testing under way!

Check out the Amahi 8 wiki page if you would like to test prior to the release.

For those using Amahi 7 (64-bit) on Fedora 19, there is an upgrade path. All others will have to install new, but may find the HDA OS Migration Guide beneficial.

NOTE: Amahi 8 will ONLY work for 64-bit OS. Sorry, but Amahi 7 will be the last release for 32-bit users. Time to upgrade

We added some much requested features, such as the ability to customize DHCP Lease range for clients. Default is set to 100-254, but can now be changed in Amahi 8 in the HDA dashboard.

Were down to the final few days for release of Amahi 8 on Fedora 21.

Another new feature is the capability to see the size of a share (disk space used by files) from the HDA Dashboard.
