Installing with a USB, No dvd drive available

Postby Darkwing » Tue Aug 11, 2015 1:41 pm

As the title states I am having a bit of a problem installing Amahi 7 from a usb due to the fact that Fedora 19 is no longer available and I have no DVD drive on my HP Proliant Gen8. The earliest build I am able to download is Fedora 21 but only the alpha build of Amahi 8 is using that and I would prefer to use amahi 7 as this is my first server and would like it to be as stable as possible.

Any suggestions as to how I can go about downloading Fedora 19 or is there some work around I can do?

Thanks in advance.

Check out the Amahi wiki. There are download links there.

Hey Bigfoot thanks for the speedy response. I'm relatively new to this which means I might not be seeing the install files. Any way you could provide an exact link? I found the full DVD ISO can I just put that onto a usb drive using unetboot and carry on with the install that way?

Thanks

Links are located on the Amahu 7 Full DVD page.

Yes use the ISO with that utility.
