Can't Install. Black Screen + Cursor - Intel GMA?

Hi,

I think this is a graphics driver issue, but I get the installer as far as it flicks on the locale/language screen and it instantly disappears leaving me with a black screen and the mouse pointer, which is free to move.

I've seen it hinted elsewhere this might be related to the Intel GMA graphics/driver.

I am not a Linux/Unix guru, what can I do?

Is this an Express CD install?

If so, your best following the Amhi7 full DVD when encountering driver issues.
