SOLVED: Installation failure with express cd 7.1

I receive fatal error during the installation. See below screenshot. Installing from 7.1 express cd to a hyper-v vm.

Did you check to see that the download or CD was not corrupt? Also could be a networking issue trying to get latest updates.

Recommend you check out the Express CD troubleshooting page in the wiki.

It was the virtual nic. The fix was to remove it an add the legacy network adapter.
