Changing IP address

Can I change the IP address of my HDA once it is installed?

unfortunately, this is not supported, because those settings get propagated.

you can try to do brain surgery like this:

- get phpmyadmin
- go to the demo_production database
- go to settings
- change general/self-address from 10 (the default) to whatever you want.

then reboot and hope for the best.

we should track what fails under a bug in the tracker and add support this. we're shorthanded.

I tried changing the IP and the subnet in mySQL and rebooting, it broke just about everything, luckily I have not started using the server in anger so I will reinstall it.

yeah. we're a small team. taht's a fairly infrequent operation, so we did not design it in from the get go.
