SOLVED: Ipv4 and Ipv6 connection , not updating

Hi there guys,

So my issue is:
After a fresh installation of Amahi 7.1 i can't update nothing or install nothing.

I have a internet connection that gave me an ipv4 an a public ipv6 . when i´m trying to install or update this is what happens :



[root@localhost ~]# yum install net-tools bind-utils
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
amahi | 2.9 kB 00:00:00
Error: Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: fedora/19/x86_64. Please verify its path and try again

Can anyone help out?

It appears you have no network connection to the HDA.

Can you ping google.com?

yes i can ping google.com or other one, i can acesses the hda inside my network, just can't update anything.

I have a ipv6 public ip and an ipv4 ip , all my devices have public ipv6 ip...

Ok, understand. Currently Amahi only supports IPV4 addresses.

We have IPV6 on the feature list for Amahi 8, but nothing currently planned for Amahi 7 at this point.

Not sure if there is a work around, but you might try searching the forums.

already try all of it...
i have google it but steel no joy...
i´m trying to put ipv6 dns to see if it works...

i will post some more news about it.

Sorry but this is one of those areas that we still need to improve on in future Amahi versions. We will get there eventually.

Just disable IPV6 on router.
