Hi - I'm not sure I'm posting this in right section but since it's my interest in Greyhole that brought me here, I though I would start here and trust that someone will direct me to the correct place if not here.
I'm trying to setup Greyhole on my Amahi 6.1 installation (which is running well as Guest under Virtualbox host on Ubuntu). I note that when I try to get to Greyhole via Advanced Settings, I cannot do so because enabling Advanced Settings always takes me to the Amahi Wiki Website for Advanced Settings https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Advanced_Settings. Can anyone advise what I'm missing and how to get Advance Settings to do more than link me an explanation of what it is and how to use it? Thanks in advance.
RESOLVED: Unable to Enable Advanced Settings for Greyhole
Re: Unable to Enable Advanced Settings for access to Greyhol
To enable Advanced Settings:
Log into your http://hda
Select Setup link at the top of the dashboard
Choose the Settings tab
Check the box labeled Advanced Settings
-> Please tell us at which point it takes you to the website?

Re: Unable to Enable Advanced Settings for access to Greyhol
Thanks for responding. It takes me to the website right after I check the box labeled Advanced Settings. Actually when I select the "+" to the right of Advanced Settings

Try this:
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Advanced_Settings
The "+" sign is working as designed. Once you have checked the box, nothing more is needed.
See this for more info.

Re: Unable to Enable Advanced Settings for access to Greyhol
Thanks for responding. After checking the box to right of Advanced Settings, when I select the "+" to right of Advanced settings, I am taken to https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Advanced_Settings. I don't ever get to screen I can enter workgroup name.
Re: Unable to Enable Advanced Settings for access to Greyhol
The "+" sign is for help, not functionality of the Advanced Settings. Select the Shares tab and you should see a second option for Settings. Select that you set the workgroup name there.
The Advanced Settings enables various options in tabs, such as Network and Settings.
UPDATE: Please check out https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Advanced_Settings for additional info. Also see https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Greyhole for guidance on Greyhole in Amahi 6.

Ah, ha! How could I have been so stupid. Thanks for your help and your tolerance of my ineptitude.
Re: Unable to Enable Advanced Settings for access to Greyhol
Not a problem. Happy to help. BTW, why did you choose Ubuntu? Fedora 19 is our latest supported version.
We no longer update Ubuntu nor release new apps or update them. If you are just starting out, I would recommend you install Amahi 7 on Fedora 19.

Re: RESOLVED: Unable to Enable Advanced Settings for Greyhol
Sorry for delay. Just saw your reply. I picked Ubuntu because I had it working a while ago and became fond of Ubuntu because I'm trying to learn it on workstation. Just never went back to Fedora. Perhaps I should do that and transfer all my stuff over to that based on your observation. Thanks.
