i386 yes, no

Postby weccan » Fri Apr 25, 2014 9:23 am

Sorry if this is has already been address somewhere in the forum.
Is there a 32 bit Amahi 7 or other for Fedora. I am trying to repurpose an old machine and the Amahi server seems a be just what I was looking for. But the express install is a no go, must have a i386 setup.

All ideas welcome

The wiki is your source of info:
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Amahi_7_full_DVD

Although unsupported, you can also try this method:
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Fedora_19_USB_install

I have tested both methods and had no issues. Ensure your machine meets the minimum requirements for Amah i7:

Thank you for the quick reply.
I have tried the full install as suggested but the link;
" rpm -Uvh http://f19.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release ... noarch.rpm "
returned a 404 page error.

And again the Newbe is stumped

Please try again. I just checked it in a web browser and works fine.
