Forum issue? Can't log in to change username or email

Apologies if this is the wrong section.

If I go to profile->profile->edit account settings, it asks me for my password before I can make any changes. I enter my password and it tells me it's incorrect. I logged in with that password, so I'm confused. I logged out and then back in, so double checked that my password works. I tried go back to profile->profile->edit account settings and it still won't accept my password.
