Is this thread dead?... I too seem to be having a problem with reaching http://hda

any help would be awesome
You have to give us a little more information than just "I seem to be having problems....", we need to know:

1. Is there any errors when traveling to http://hda?
2. Do you have DHCP SERVER OFF on your router?
3. What browser/OS is your client(s) running?

Some things to check and make sure you did:

1. If DHCP IS handled by your HDA (not router), did you reboot your HDA AFTER turning DHCP OFF on your router?
2. Have you renewed your IP lease on your client computer(s) to get the IP from the HDA?

and most important of all, check the network troubleshooter and tell us what step you get stuck at (1.2, 1.3 ...)

Alrighty,

so, amahi is installed... and going through the network troubleshooter, my hda can reach the internet, but (Im assuming this is the case) there are 2 nics (wifi, eth0) and I cant get dhcp to run just on my eth0. So, just leaving dhcp alone at the moment, I also notice that I cant browse to http://hda from the hda. Can I assume that if I just delete the wifi nic, that should allow dhcp to just run on the eth0 interface?.. and if so, how can I do that?.. and, should I be able to browse to http://hda from my hda?

thanks

How is your HDA connected to the router?

I suppose there really isnt one, for now... however, eventually I may like to have nics on separate networks.. should I remove it?..

Ahh theres the problem, F11 is currently not supported, but is in testing.

I would recommend you use F10, you can always upgrade later.
