SOLVED: can't download amahi-greyhole

The more I think about it, I Greyhole should already be installed. Please check as root user by doing:

If it's not, then we will have to come up with something else. Not sure if it can be downloaded from repo, but worth a shot.

nope, didn't worked and I have also search for it in the filesystem (gui) as well as yum search in different combinations. seems not to be installed...

You could as root user do:

rpm -ql amahi-greyhole

That will tell you also if it's present. I am baffled as what the issue is here. I have no problems finding it from my 32- and 64-bit test machines.

Can you try this:

yum update hda-ctl hda-platform

The result should show no updates available and show you what version of the Amahi platform you are running.

translation: amahi-greyhole package is not installed

That will tell you also if it's present. I am baffled as what the issue is here. I have no problems finding it from my 32- and 64-bit test machines.

Ok, show it appears as if the repo is working. To find the version of the Amahi platform, you may have to do install vs update to see the version. You can also replace update with list too.

This is quite a conundrum. Will have to do some more thinking about what to do next.

That is good news as it shows the repo is working correctly and you are up-to-date with the Amahi platform. I see that you are using 32-bit version. I will double check tonight that I can get the amahi-greyhole package.

Not much else we can do for now. You could try this to see what it reflects:

Well interestingly enough, I cannot find it either. Please stand by while I get our developer to check the repo. Something is amiss here.
