SOLVED: Apps just re open the dashboard

Yes, I normally use chrome. but i just tried IE. but before i even typed in the IP address, i clear everything from the browser. Still just opening the dash board.

Maybe try the network troubleshooter. Link is on the wiki home page.

I did try the network trouble shooter, but when i get to nslookup hda, i get command not found. a side from just giving up and going back to WHS, i am willing to try anything?

Did you install bind-utils from my previous post? That adds nslookup to the HDA. I am sure it's something simple, just have to find out what it is.

so i reset the the HDA and ran the bind- install command again and it installed and nslookup hda worked. went through all the trouble shooting steps. made it to 13 and everything worked fine.

OK, that is good. What are you using for a client OS? If it's Windows, please do ipconfig /all and post the results.

WAIT HOLD THE PHONE!!!! I reset the HDA again while i was writing the last post. and they are working now!!!!
