I had the install check both the express cd and the full CD.
Since it isn't even working for the normal Fedora, I see that it can't be Amahi's fault. I'm thinking of trying a full install of Fedora instead of the minimal one, may have more luck there.
Amahi 7 Express disk - can't ping anything, no nslookup
Re: Amahi 7 Express disk - can't ping anything, no nslookup
Does it hurt if I install it with the gnome desktop
Re: Amahi 7 Express disk - can't ping anything, no nslookup
Yes. If using full DVD, it must be minimal install or Amahi will not install correctly. Best to follow the install guidance in the wiki and not improvise or you are apt to have failure.

Awesome, it worked! I simply reinstalled, then waited and manually turned it on and off for a while. Now, I can see the http://hda
Thanks so much for your help.
I only have one more question. Can you help me to change the static Ip address of my hda? I know how to do it in my router, just wondering how I can change it in the control panel and the machine.

I am sorry to say it cannot be changed without a reinstall. You have to match what your HDA profile reflects on amahi.org.
To change it, you will have to delete the profile and create a new one with the desired IP address, then reinstall from scratch.

Very interesting - glad to hear you got it working. I have the exact same issue with a Lenovo T400 (so maybe there is a hardware issue going on?). It has previously been running Fedora 19 full install with no issues, so there must be something wrong with the minimal or amahi install.Awesome, it worked! Anyway - could you maybe elaborate on when in the process you turned it on and off and how far it got in the rebooting before that stage? I have been patient (by my own standards at least) but not gotten anything so far outside of getting dumped at a text login console.
