You was right: the drives whore visible but they whore not mounted.
I've checked with the 'hda-diskmount' and manually edited the 'ect/fstab'.
After that the partitions whore visible and the mounting points come clear.
Then I was able to establish the shares.
Conclusion: Amahi 7 needs to manually (auto) mount ALL extra drives with command line prior the definition of the shares.

Glad you got it sorted out. We do not intentionally mount drives automatically. That is something best left to the user. Not all users spread there shares amongst drives. Most use additional drives for Greyhole.
Also many users only have 1 drive, so that is the standard by which we work. We are working on a GUI driven app for mounting drives, but not sure if there will ever be a auto-mount as you indicated.
