Amahi 7.1 installation error

Postby melnik » Sun Aug 18, 2013 10:44 pm

Hi!

I have tried and failed to install amahi 7.. My network adapter says enp2s0 instead of eth0. Error screenshot is attached. Any suggestions? Installation fails at the very beginning.
Mu networ adapter is *Realtek® 8111F, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller*

Thanks!

Do you have more than one network card in this machine? If so, you need to disable one to keep the installer from choosing the wrong card.

Although Fedora is pretty good with drivers, there may be some network cards it will not support. I would doubt yours is one of them, but never can tell.

Might want to check Fedora's web site for compatibility. Not sure why it's not reading as eth0.
