HTTP Download Manager
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with running a download manager on an Amahi box? I'm not looking for anything all that specialized, just a way to get larger http downloads to run completely server side. Really just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what software would be the best option for setting this up... It looks like there aren't too many options, but I haven't really used any of them so I thought I'd ask.
Re: HTTP Download Manager
good idea..
In most cases though, you would have to work some magics to have the server grab downloads on client machines, but you could always ssh or vnc into your HDA and use something like
http://uget.visuex.com/
and achieve download management

Re: HTTP Download Manager
There are a few options with web interfaces, so I'm hoping to set something up similar to a torrent client, though yes, grabbing thins much more complicated than a basic link may be problematic.
