SOLVED: Torrent Apps

Postby Bureaucromancer » Fri May 24, 2013 7:59 pm

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting a browser plugin that handles magnet links to pass to an amahi based torrent app? I can't seem to get the one click install tranmission client to work, but suspect I might be missing something simple. I've mostly been working with Transmission and Remote Torrent Adder, but have tried a couple other Chrome plug ins and briefly tried to get Remote Torrent Adder to work with qbittorrent. There seems to be something that's screwing this up, but I'm not sure if it's network or amahi related.

Not a huge issue, but I assume someone out there has tried.

Have you checked out the wiki for transmission? There might be some guidance there that will help.

Just to let folks know that I got .torrent to Transmission to work properly without any fight, and that I suspect that my problems earlier were caused on the plugin end rather than Amahi.
