Hello,

I've just tried to install this, i cant access anything via plexms in a webrowser, I assume that is where i need to go to configure it. I've had a look at the install log and it all looks fine. Any ideas?

You are correct, access via web browser. The log indicates it installed successfully. Not sure what the problem could be. Maybe permissions?

The other thing that comes to mind is whether you've installed it before. My list of troubles seems to indicate that the one click uninstall might not be getting the plex package itself.

It may not be uninstalling it. I have seen with Ubuntu sometimes where Plex has to be manually uninstalled. It's a simple command:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get remove plexmediaserver
If it's installed, it will be removed. If not, it will say not installed.

I just checked the Amahi app and the uninstall routine was not working properly. Made a few changes and tested it. Appears to have uninstalled correctly on my test machine.

Please give it a try and let me know if it worked.

I have unistalled plex via the one-click and tried the command

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get remove plexmediaserver
It showed that it was not installed. I have tried installing again but i still cannot access anything at http://plexms etc.

All other apps installed can be accessed, i have had a look in the folder /var/hda/web-apps/plexms/html and it only contains a .htacess file. Is that correct?

Please check the install log as well. The only file that should be in the folder is as you indicated.
