No, I was unable to install the DVD version for monetary reasons, however the cd installation only really required that I open the terminal and type the
section. Then I just found the packages that were not installed through debugging and checking the packages that were listed in the error logs against what yumex said was installed. The process was minimally difficult, especially for a linux newbie like me. So the whole process essentially ended up being install Fedora 10 CD(I got the KDE package) install yumex via Kpackagekit (though this probably wasn't absolutely needed) then follow through the directions written on the wiki, though since Amahi came preinstalled along with most of the rest of the files I only needed the two rubygems that were not included rubygem-fcgi and rubygem-gd2. If anything it was more a lack of my ability to RTFM than anything. Now I am going to get the external access available.
