I have just done a complete reinstall using Fedora14. Setup Sabnzbd fine but now trying to install Sickbeard all I am getting is the same as the OP. I have rebooted the server and tried to get this to install again but it simply sits at the same point saying "preparing to install".
Worked fine last week on a Ubuntu install.
Any ideas how to get this to install.

Try clearing your download cache. It is /tmp/amahi-download-cache and also your browser cache.
Do you have good connectivity? I have tested this several times and installs fine for me.

Cleared caches, rebooted, and installed 23 apps without any problems but still Sickbeard will not install on my server. Is there a manual way to install and then associate this app with the HDA?

That's great! Thank you for the link.
Re: Sickbeard Not Installing - Fedora 14
No problem. The rest should be easy fairly easy as it's not a complicated app to install.

Re: Sickbeard Not Installing - Fedora 14
Just to end this thread...was just preparing to install manually today and by chance tried to install via one-click and for some reason it installed!
No idea what happened or why it suddenly worked but it did so all is good again

Re: Sickbeard Not Installing - Fedora 14
Glad to hear it has successfully installed. Sometimes there are connectivity issues between the user's HDA and the Amahi install process. Hard to pin point, but it always seems to iron out in the end.
Often clearing the browser cache or rebooting the HDA corrects install problems. Not the best solution, but has worked in the past for me.
