Permissions error tin can jukebox

Hello

I tried installing Tin Can Jukebox and when I try to scan my music files I get the following error:
Mon Oct 22 22:22:39 CEST 2012 - (1) Error opening /var/hda/files/music/mp3. The user the web server runs under does not appear to have permissions to this directory.

When in terminal I do cd /var/hda/files/music and press ls -l I get the following output:
-rwxrw-r-- 1 bone users 504 Jul 11 09:28 desktop.ini
drwxrwxr-x 5 bone users 4096 Oct 21 10:30 iTunes
drwxrwxr-x 2 bone users 40960 Oct 21 20:09 MP3
drwxrwxr-x 2 bone users 4096 May 26 18:46 Playlists
drwxrwxr-x 2 bone users 4096 Oct 21 10:41 $RECYCLE.BIN


I also tried to open a terminal and press sudo nautilus and gave the other access - read only rights but still I get the above error.

Can some1 please help me to get this up and running?

Check /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log file for issues. Also check the ownership of the files in /var/hda/web-apps/jukebox.

What do the right have to be on /var/hda/web-apps/jukebox? I mean, do users need read-write or do they have to be the same as the folder /var/hda/files/music where others just have access - read permissions?

Owner was www-data annd also tried setting owner to bone but no joy. Still keeps complaining about permissions on /var/hda/files/music

The ownership for /var/hda/web-apps/jukebox should be www-data:users. The music would be owned by your first admin user:users. Suggest you try this:

sudo chown -R bone:users /var/hda/files/music

That will ensure all files in the music directory are owned by your first admin user. If this still does not work, then we will have to research the issue a bit more.
