No I don't think so! Is that the problem and how do I solve it? A new installation?
Re: I lost my internet connection
Well, as to how to fix it without reinstalling i dont know.
But you can do this. Turn DHCP back ON on your router and restart your HDA
Then go into your control panel on amahi.org/user and make a new setup, set it with the correct gateway and then delete the old one. Then on your HDA open Terminal and enter the following line just like you did when you installed amahi before, just with the new code:
-f makes it force install over the last, after you do that, reboot your hda again, when it comes back up, turn DHCP back OFF on your router and reboot hda again and see if that fixes it.

No problem man, come back and let us know if that fixes your problem or not.
Should fix it, but anything can happen.

I did not succeed in reparing the hda the way you suggested, because I could not get an internet connection with the hda. I think it was because it had an fixed ip adres, and that was still in the false range.
I have reinstalled everything (included Fedora) and everything is alright now. Thanks for help once more. I will prove my hda farther.

Ahh, ok, there is a fix to that aswell but I had forgotten about it, and it would have taken some digging.
Glad you got it up and running.

Re: I lost my internet connection - Solved
Hi guys, I've reinstalled Fedora 3 times, and I still don't get that screen that shows the changing of the Network settings (1. Network Settings ->2.Home DNS Domain->3.Finalize Settings). At which point does that screen come up? I'm still loosing my internet connection when turning Amahi HDA on, to all of my computers (all WinXP). Thanks for your help!

Re: I lost my internet connection - Solved
hi, sorry to hear about that. we aim for a single-shot install.
that page comes up in http://www.amahi.org when you configure a new HDA profile.
if you have one already and the HDA is not installed, it will not let you create a new one.
delete the existing one and start a new one.
just make sure that these settings are what your router has!
alternatively, if you don't want to reinstall, change the router to what you configured in amahi.org!
