DLNA is dropping out

Postby sgtfoo » Wed Sep 12, 2012 7:04 am

For about a year I had my Amahi box as its own box, and running amahi-DLNA just fine. No issues.

Recently, the only change is that my Amahi server is now a virtual machine inside "Proxmox". It rides bridged ethernet interfaces to hit the network.

Before I jump this thread to the virtualization section, what could cause mini-dlna (amahi-dlna) to not show up on my PS3 for any reason? It seems that usually, to remedy this I shutdown all media sharing on my desktop Windows PC and restart DLNA on my HDA. Are there dlna ports that Windows Sharing uses? does ipv6 conflict?

Vortexbox is another media serving VM that already easily and usually shows up on my PS3 without issue.

Any input folks?
