cannot access username.yourhda.com from outside my network
Re: cannot access username.yourhda.com from outside my netwo
That should be ok as long as it's off on the router. Adding the HDA IP to DNS on the router might help. Definitely would reboot the router and see if that helps.

Re: cannot access username.yourhda.com from outside my netwo
First of all I want to thank you for your quick replies.
I did disabled dyndns on the router (btw I meant a host name from dyndns) and changed DNS servers on te router pointing to the hda's ip. Still nothing.
I was thinking if I'm able to SSH into the hda with the dyndns host name. Isn't there any way to point it to the dashboard or an app like any website?

Yes you can point it to the Dashboard, but it will not do much. In order to point it to an app, you have to follow the wiki guidance.
http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Hosting_a_website
This requires you forward port 80 on your router to the HDA IP Address. It will only work with one app however at this time. We are working to change that in future releases of Amahi.
One option is to expose OpenVPN ALS to port 443. It is a clientless VPN which means installs on HDA and access from client using web browser in case you did not know.
http://www.amahi.org/apps/openvpn-als
You can use it for file access and there is a function for web forwards which allows access to many of the apps from outside the network.

Ok I've Installed OpenVPN ALS, I have port forwarding for port 443 configured on the router for amahi. I'm not sure what to do next
Re: cannot access username.yourhda.com from outside my netwo
Log in and start configuring any shares not present. You can also configure web forwards or proxy for apps. You might want to check out the wiki page or read the user manual.
