Lubuntu+Amahi ?

just wondering if anyone has tried Lubuntu+Amahi? now that Amahi for Ubuntu is out....

I have tried Xubuntu, but that is all. I added it to the wiki page so others would know. Only way to find out is try it :)

ok i would like to try it in a vm but last time i tried a vm, i broke my hda ... how to get some new install codes to play around with it ?
thank you....
i see start building a new hda from control panel page what do i need to add here if anything "i am just worried i dont want to brake the hda i have working lol

When you log into amahi.org, select the link that says create a new HDA. You can have several HDA's with one profile. I have a dozen I think now.

do i just click the "+" ? there is nothing on the page telling me what to do

On the left you should see a link that says "Start building a new HDA" just under the "Feedback" link.

If you don't see it, email support as there may be a problem.

Nearly any desktop can work with Amahi once it's already installed.
I've tried Gnome, KDE and XFCE and LXDE on Fedora 14 after Amahi was installed.
I've had a Ubuntu File server run on all the 4 desktops as well, so I imagine that anyone can use any desktop they like once amahi is installed.

This is true, should be very little difference with the core other than the desktop. We will have to keep track in the wiki for those flavors that have been tested.
