VPN through iPad

I have been able to VPN through my iPad. However, how do I access my files after connecting to my Amahi home server? Do I have to buy the FileBrowser app? How do I stream music from my server at home?

I'm not too versed on iPads, but you will need an app that can read SAMBA or CIFS file systems to read your shares. Otherwise, once conencted to VPN, you can use the extplorer app provided on the HDA to see shares. You'll need to setup extplorer first.
