[SOLVED] Cannot access qbittorrent through VPN

I'm in through VPN - I can access the HDA. I installed qbittorrent remotely, however - when I go to qbittorrrent.home.com in my web browser, I'm getting Service Temporarily Unavailable...

I'm a newbie, so any advice at all would be very much appreciated. I tested one of my other apps - videos5 - and that is working just fine through the VPN.

Tried to access it directly from the linux box and got the same problem. Is there something I can do from the terminal to diagnose it or try reinstalling it?

I presume you are using Fedora 14. Was this a full DVD install or Express CD?

Check the Amahi app install log. It is located in /var/log folder on the HDA. If there is an issue, that should identify any problems. Another log file is located in /var/hda/web-apps/qbittorrent/logs folder as well. Between those 2, you should see if there are any issues and what they might be.

I don't know why it's saying that "user:user" is invalid... the username is user, in the user group, and it's worked for everything else...

So if I'm not mistaken, I need to forward port 8090? Do I forward TCP or UDP or both?

I'm getting a (somewhat) similar problem with Jinzora, which I've just installed... I can access the app, but when I attempt to add a media directory, and click on "browse," I get:

Apache already has ownership of the folder I'm trying to direct Jinzora to, as I needed to set that to get Videos5 to work correctly.

I do not see any issue with qBittorrent other than the one statement stating that it could not change ownership of files to user:user. Not sure if user is one of those reserved names that causes problems. You might consider changing the user name to something else.

Seems you are having a lot of issues, all related to one thing. Not sure what that common element is, but I am guessing it could be the chosen user name.

Keep in mind if you are doing this all remotely, that could be part of the problem as well. There is something not set up correctly with the VPN possibly. What are you using for a client?
