Updating Greyhole : Don't Panic

Ever since I updated Greyhole top the latest version, I periodically have to reinstall it to get samba to work properly. In the wiki, it suggests this might be a one-time event. Looking at the greyhole site, it appears a new version just came out today. Sure enough when I woke up today, my samba shares weren't visible. A reinstall fixed it.

Is there any long-term fix for this short of reinstalling greyhole every time an update is pushed? I know you're working on F16 so maybe this isn't a priority, I get that. As a relatively novice linux user though, I don't know if there's some relatively simple fix I can do on my end to either prevent this, or alternatively, run a command (the reinstall command) every time greyhole updates.

Why don't you report the bug to the maintainer of the package you installed?

The greyhole.net hda-greyhole is maintained by the greyhole developer.

If you file a bug report on the greyhole.net site, I am sure he will fix this issue quickly, as he always does.

Not a bad suggestion, either. Since he does appear to post regularly on Amahi's bug tracker I feel that's an appropriate means to get it done though. He's even fairly responsive on these boards, and helped with a situation I had shortly after install.
