Hello,
I was wondering if I can set my fedora so that when I plug out the PC it starts automaticly and automatic logs on to fedora.
I've already set it so that the PC starts automatic when the power comes on again (in the bios).
Only the automatic login in fedora seems to have problems.
I tried the following:
[deamon]
AutomaticLoginEnable=true
Automaticlogin=pascal (thats the username I'm using).
When the PC starts it hangs in the start.
I get a screen with all stripes and it is trying to auto login
please help me
automatic login in fedora
Re: automatic login in fedora
Sounds like maybe the file might not have the correct permissions. Make sure its owned by your user like all other files.
Did you try this http://38v.ww.sl.pt? You can also typically set auto login via the Fedora Desktop if you have access or use VNC.
