Search doesn't work

Hello,

i am new to amahi and i have a problem searching e.g. music on my hda.
I uploaded some mp3's (some of them in subfolders) to the (standard share) music and i wanted to search for some of them.
So i tryed to search an mp3 that's directly in the \\hda\music folder and some in subfolders but the search gives me no results.
(I tried to search for a part of the filename e.g. "Bruce Springsteen - Atlantic City.mp3" - i searched for "Atlantic", "atlantic", "*atlantic*" and "*Atlantic*"

I found out - when setting to expert settings - that the tags are set in english e.g. "music". So i tried to set the german tag "Musik", too. But it doesn't matter.

Do i maybe have to generate an index or sth like that?

I have heard of some problems with the search function in the past. Not sure if this is related to your issue, but worth a look.

thanks for the Link. It was a simmilar problem.
locate wasn't installed on my system so it couldn't work
