Storage Pooling Link Missing

Postby dbreton » Thu Jan 19, 2012 11:50 pm

I go to "Setup>Shares" and there is no link to the Storage Pooling setting.

The Greyhole logs keep outputting this:

Code: Select all

daemon: You have no storage_pool_directory defined. Greyhole can't run.
I understand that a partition needs to be added to the greyhole pool. But I cannot add one because the link is missing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the list of disks in my system

Code: Select all

[davidb@amahi ~]$ df Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/mapper/vg_amahi-lv_root 51606140 4818836 44165864 10% / tmpfs 1023392 112 1023280 1% /dev/shm /dev/sda1 495844 30006 440238 7% /boot /dev/mapper/vg_amahi-lv_home 1866690996 223640 1771644956 1% /home

Have you enabled Advanced Settings? Go to the Setup tab and check the box for Advanced Settings, then check the Shares tab for Storage Pool.

There is additional information in the wiki about Greyhole (http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Greyhole). This is a good source for information for using and managing your HDA.
