unable to access work shares when vpn from home

I have two issues that are coming about due to Amahi server in home and wanted to see if someone can help me.

Background: I have work laptop that I use for VPN into work when I am working from home. We use OpenVPN to connect to work.

Issue#1: I can VPN into work fine, however work network drives that are mapped are not accessible all of sudden since I got Amahi
ssue #2: I have cygwin that we use at work to ssh into our servers and when I try to connect cygwin to my server I don't get any response either.

I am not sure if this has something to do with AMahi taking over DHCP or not. Its defintely something to do with home networking because I try VPN from starbucks or neighbor's open wifi and I can access work shares, and server viva ssh.

Could be the issue with OpenVPN. If you are accessing from the same subnet as your home network, there is a problem (i.e. access from 192.168.1.x and home network is 192.168.1.x).

This is mentioned in the Amahi wiki in the VPN clients area I believe and might explain your trouble.

is there workaround for this issue ? because I work from home once a week and I have to access my shares from work and server via SSH
