How do I enable PHP "gd" extension

I need to have the gd extension enabled in PHP and it seems that it is not enabled by default in the Amahi setup. Can someone tell me how to enable this extension or add the necessary library?

Via command line as root user, do:

OK I did a bad bad thing - I uninstalled and then reinstalled php and of course lost my ability to communicate with Amahi. Is there a way to re-install php with the amahi code that was removed?

Yes, reinstall Amahi. If it was me, I would reinstall Fedora and then Amahi. Lesson #1, never uninstall anything you did not install unless you are prepared for the consequences

One final question before I take the dramatic step of reinstalling everything. Since it was only the php portion of amahi that I destroyed I figure that I could reconstitute the destroyed packages of php by looking at the original installation script and plucking those parts that created the php.ini file from the installation script and then running them to se if I can return to where it was that I started. Since, worst case I will have to reinstall everything it seems that I should at least try to recreate what I have undone from the installation script before I kill the patient.. Can you tell me where the original installation script is located or how I can get my hands on it to review it and make the necessary changes?

Don't believe that is possible. The installation is done via various parts and pieces, so not just one simple script to look at.

You can try reinstalling PHP and see if that works. Otherwise, I am afraid you are better off reinstalling.
