Remotely transferring to Amahi problems

Hey so im not sure if this is a problem with my hardware, Amahi's capability, or the connection. Basically when im out (which is a lot of the time) i like to add content to Amahi. When im out I will connect via OpenVPN or IPsec and continue to transfer files back and forth by mounting the shares through SAMBA. It works great until I transfer larger files (i.e. something over 500 MB). The connection will error out usually about half way. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you in advance.

Consider trying OpenVPN ALS.

It is a clientless VPN and allows you to upload/download files from anywhere outside your network. That is of course providing you set it up to be reachable as documented in the wiki.
