Ok this turned out to be an issue with IE9. When I got home last night I tried the same links with firefox and they worked fine. Switched over to IE and only got a few kilobytes again. I completed the download in firefox but haven't had time to install Amahi yet.
For anyone else who come across the same problem or wonders what to download visit the mirrors website as instructed.
http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/publiclist/Fedora/14/
Scroll down to a mirror, they are sorted by country and since I'm in the USA I used one of ours
and click on http or ftp. I seemed to have faster speed using http.
Next click on RELEASES
then on 14
then on FEDORA
next click on i386 for 32bit fedora or x86-64 for 64bit version.
then click ISO
next click FEDORA-14-i386-DVD.ISO or FEDORA-14-x86_64-DVD.ISO if you went the 64bit route.
