Request: Two new features: SqueezeCenter and Funambol

Postby superkikim » Thu Apr 09, 2009 4:32 am

Hi Amahi team...

I will try soon your great software, searching for the best home server.

I would suggest two features to be added to your software:
  1. SqueezeCenter. Easy to implement, and open source
  2. Funambol: Open source as well. An excellent synchronization server, with API and interfaces for anything... Java phones, iphone, MLSync, outlook, thunderbird, google....
Wish you can do that in a next release :-)

hmmm funambol looks nice, but doesn't that mean you have to put some ports of Amahi open to the internet?

hi superkikim!

squeezecenter is basically working. it's in testing at the moment. should be available soon.

would you like to review it and possibly help configure it for easier amahi integration?

funambol is very nice, we hear. it may be harder to integrate than the usual app, though. if you have tips on how to configure it, we'd like to package it with those recommendations!

we need expert advice in configuring these apps.
