Update from headless Fedora 12 Amahi 5 to....

I just installed the headless version of amahi. And i was wondering if there is a way to get the update to fedora 14 and amahi 6? I dont exactly want to try the alpha version. Also i want it headless as my server is a Intel pentium 4 processor, rather slow(keep it dedicated to server not GUI).

Hello,

You should be able to upgrade headless using the DVD. I am not positive, but I believe there is an option for minimal install which may apply to upgrade as well.

If you don't have access to the box via a monitor, then you will need to take a different approach. You can try following the wiki, but I am unsure if it will install the desktop or not.

Hey thanks for the info! Unfortunately I shorted my server so I dont have access to any of it anymore.
